Marcellus (www.marcellus.in) is hiring a Quant Specialist.  The role touches multiple functions within Marcellus. For the investments team, the candidate will leverage quantitative methods to enhance equity research; develop stock selection and portfolio construction frameworks using a wide range of financial and statistical / macroeconomic parameters and conduct extensive validation of the above frameworks through rigorous back-testing, statistical analysis and econometric analysis. The candidate will also work with Marcellus’ sales, customer management and other business functions to help mine existing and prospective clients data to derive actionable insights and improve key performance metrics such as conversion, satisfaction and efficiency. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of statistical & econometric tools and techniques with a post-graduate qualification from a reputed institution. Advanced proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Advanced proficiency in MS Excel are also required. The candidate should have the willingness to master Financial analysis and pass the exams for the CFA charter (USA). Relevant work experience should be in the range of 10-15 years.
